COUNTRY LIFE / by Adrian Bagley

If you are a dedicated surfer that has had to put up with endless flat conditions over the summer months (particularly this summer) then any kind of wave as the winter approaches that is above a foot tall is something worth celebrating all over the socials and probably helps both mind and body get back into the groove.

For me on the other hand, I don’t get inspired to take photographs of the Atlantic when it still looks like a 1980s photography club calendar, I just get really excited and start thinking of how I might approach this winter and what different equipment I might need to try and achieve the kind of images I have swirling round in my head.

Soooo I was a really cool distraction from the everyday and the waiting to be asked to contribute some shot of Big wave surfer Tom Butler for an article with Country life magazine.

If you have a few moments spare while waiting in a queue for the post office or a bus or if you get a cold and are lying on the sofa with nothing to do for once then please check it out.. x
